weight gain ?

I made it thru 7 days and lost 7 lbs - unbelievable for me; so I continued...

Now I'm up 2.5 lbs again - any ideas why that would happen? I am still doing everything, and even kicked up my workout at the gym back to it's normal cardio/weights trying to burn a little more - I took the first week off as the book says, and just walked and did yoga a few times.

Does anyone think it could be the shakes? A lot of fruit, tofu, etc. Everything else is veggies and fish/chicken, so I can't imagine what could make me gain weight. It's a bummer - I was expecting to lose another few lbs each week I continued...
