Doing the UltraSimple Diet Doing the UltraSimple Diet

I am currently using the Metagenics UltraInflamX Rice Protein powder in my shakes.  I am wondering after the UltraSimple Diet 7 days, if we should continue using this, or if something else like the Metagenics UltraMeal, or a different rice protein powder brand would be better?  Can the nutritionist please respond?  What would Dr. Hyman recommend we use if we want to continue to make shakes with the rice protein powder?

The idea of protein powder is to provide amino acids that are part of the detoxification process.  In addition, they help balance your blood pressure, reduce cravings and help improve weight and energy metabolism.

 

There are Nutribiotic powders that certainly can do that.

 

There are other products that are rice protein powders that have additional ingredients such as Ultra Clear PLUS that are often called medical foods.  These contain things like n-acetylcysteine, taurine and sulfur molecules to help boost detoxification as well as key nutrients such as selenium, zinc and B vitamins, all of which are involved with detoxification.  It is certainly not critical to have these extra components.  The main component is the rice protein so I would relax and try any form of rice protein contained in any health food store or I would order the specific brands if you have time to wait.

I just started using this for a few weeks instead of my regular whey and have seen / felt a difference this along with my other supplements and my health is in top shape i get discount vitamins online since shopping at the local stores is way to expensive these days
