I've finished the week on the ultrasimplediet and would like to find out more about the ultrametabolism plan. when i tried to access the link in the back of the ultrasimplediet book to get a sneak preview of ultrametabolism, it didn't work. i would like to preview the book to see if i'm interested.any suggestions anyone.

I am transitioning off the USD onto the UM diet. However, it's not a quick transition, because in Phase 1 of UM, you can have corn, nightshades, and citrus fruits, which you can't on the USD. So what I'm doing is bringing back in the foods one at a time (the list is in the book, starting with corn). I really want to know if any of those foods bother me.
However, I think you will need the UM book to do the diet. Lots of recipes. It's definitely not as restrictive as the USD.

Problems with sneak preview

I also had problems with receiving the preview for Ultrametabolism.  I went to the links suggest by all and I put my name and email in and don't receive anything.  I've done this like 10 times in the last few weeks.  I went through the whitelisting process, I can receive emails from Dr. Hyman because I always get them for updates on threads but it's still not working. Do you have any other suggestions?  I had the same problem with the Ultrasimple diet guide and I was emailed the guide after I reported the problem but that hasn't happened this time.  Thanks for you help!

Thanks Christina,I just got the preview from the email I sent directly to Dr.Hyman.  Thanks for responding so quickly!  I'm looking forward to reading it and hopefully trying it.  The USD has been very successful for me but so restrictive, I hear that UM is less so.  Thanks for your help!Melissa
