Hi  I am T the end of week three During week 1 detox I lost 3 pounds.120 was my starting weight. Since detox I have found I am allergic to eggs and wine makes me feel unwell.I have continued to stay away from sugar and flour and Dairy am almost down to 112 which is normal for me at five feet tall. I feel much more energy and have spent many hours gardening.This is a task I was unable to do for some years. I have ben much more animated and more social. My brain fog which I thought was aging is clearing up. I feel like I did in my early 50's I am 69 now. My skin is looking better ,eyes brighter I do classical stretch every day which is an exercise program for every one on PBS . This is giving me the flexibilty I needed. I can't beleive I have waited all my life to learn such simple methods to keep well and lose weight. Hope this encourages people starting and still trying Helen

Thanks for the encouraging story.  I do like the way this program includes every aspect of health.  Having brighter eyes and being more animated tops even 8 lbs weight loss in my book.  I am curious about the classic stretch program on PBS you talked about.  I live in California and wondered if I could find it on our station.  What is the name of the program?  Though I do yoga stretching, I am always on the lookout for other appropriate practices.  Variety is the spice of life.

You can find Classical Stretch with Miranda Esmonde (sp?) on the internet.  I order a few a her DVDs after reading great raving reviews on her on another forum.  My PBS station does not carry it.  Miranda is from Canada.  Her stretching program isn't like yoga or atheletic stretch, it's a different type and it does work!  I'd encourage you to try it.

Thank you for your encouraging story.  I have much more to lose and I guess that is why "feeling better" is taking longer.  I've lost 13 pounds and I'm in my fifth week.  I will try to stay away from dairy and especially sugar!  I know that sugar makes my joints hurt and makes it hard for me to sleep!  You are a blessing to many!

Hi Helen & Everyone

 

Today is my third day. I have not been hungry. Today I did not have sugar cravings. That is wonderful. I enjoy most of the food. I need to change the shake. I have lost 2 pounds. I need to lose 28 pounds. I feel encouraged. Thank you Helen for your post. One day at a time. I love the baths. The brain fog is leaving. Thank you all for being here.Blondie
