Congratulations on the great weight loss!
I'm not quite as far along as you are, but I would suggest having patience, careful re-reading of Chapter 6 of the USD Companion Guide to see if you have any "aha" moments, and maybe re-taking the Toxicity and Inflammation Quiz if you haven't done that recently.
I have been on the USD program since July 8th,(counting prep week), progressing very slowly to try to improve detox before moving on. My health score had improved from 122 to 17, the last time I checked on 8/21/2007. I wanna be under 10!!!
How are you doing with consuming filtered water, sweating, UB's, and relaxation?
I plan to try to increase my celery intake! (I get help for myself when I try to help people find answers!)
Best wishes for continued weight loss, and hang in there! I'm adding you to my buddy list.
i have been on since may

Hi.
Is week one enhanced from the simply diet book not the UM book? I have not read that one.
Thanks,
Michele

Congratulations on your weight loss. I think being woman we have a slow time lossing weight due to our hormones/time of the month. I have not lost any weight for 2 weeks:( yet. I have not gained any:) .... I lost 11lbs. and have 50+ lbs to go. Age certainly is slowing me down, but I am determined to fight and win this battle as I let it go for over 10years. I purchase the food for one month and it made it very easy for me to stick to the plan. Now I am trying to prepare the foods. I love the protein shake and sometimes have one for lunch made by a Natural food Cafe with Acqui and rice protein and flax.
I am trying to ramp up the exercise. And take the supplements, I tend to forget, yet feel much better when I take them.

One of the frustrating things about weight loss is that it's not a smooth and steady process. I only lost 0.8 pounds last week (my first week after the UltraSimple Diet). I was a little disappointed and wondering if my weight loss was slowing down. This week I lost 2.4 pounds. I'm gradually increasing what i do at the gym but the change so far is too small to be noticeable on the scale.
I used the packaged UltraSimple diet meals for the first two weeks. I started adding things back (nightshades and citrus) the second week.
This was my first week cooking for myself since I started the diet. I added in one new food this week (corn, which I didn't eat on the UltraSimple diet) and started eating dark chocolate again. I don't think I lost more weight this week because of that but I'm glad it didn't make it harder to lose.
I lost one inch at the waist and one at the hips last week. This week the loss in inches was a little less - one half inch in each area. I'm also tracking my body fat and it's dropping. It's nice to have those other measurements to consider when the scale is a little disappointing.
I put the supplements for the next day out in a small glass bowl on the kitchen counter after dinner. That makes it easier to remember to take them and makes things a little quicker in the mornings.
I hope youre having a great week and that you're losing weight again.
Frances
