What about nutritional yeast?

I don't remember seeing what Dr. Hymann says on using nutritional yeast. It makes a nice cheesy flavor for dairy-free eating.

I am not sure what Dr Hyman says about this yeast. Recently I remembered this product from the 70's when my Mom bought it and said it was healthy. I was a teenager back then and was only half listening, but it was good on popcorn and has a mild chicken like flavor to me. I purchased a bulk supply at my health food store and have been adding it to my soups, potatoes and vegetables. I am attaching a general information link, so others can learn about it and try some if they are interested. My only concern in relation to the diet is that it maybe considered a fermented product, I'm really not sure. My daughter is a vegetarian and this has been a great way to add flavor to products that the whole family will love and I plan to add it to my detox broth when I redo my USD plan after the holidays. It should really improve the taste and I can use the B vitamins. (this is just my personal decisions not recommended for newbies)
