Has anyone had this issue? This is my second time on this diet and I'm afraid I'm going to give up in the same place. I'm in the middle of week three, have stuck to the plan about 95% and have had a lot of exercise with a trainer. I have measured my food and kept a militant food diary and have not lost one pound. Any thoughts???? Soeething is definitely moving because the inches are coming off and I realize 8.5 inches is a big deal in two weeks but nothing on the scale at all and I have some serious weight to drop.
Thanks--this is sooooo frustrating. I'm thinking it might be time to head north to the Berkshires and get Dr. Hyman, who I met a few years back at Canyon Ranch, on the case.

I'll take the inches

The inches are what really matter. You are most likely adding muscle which weighs more than fat. Do not quit you should see weight start to come off soon. It has taken me several months to get off 25lbs, but it is also staying off. Try to think that the goal is health not just weight. Get the UM book and transfer to that plan, which is less restrictive and the life style you should be aiming toward. In that book are some health questions that will help you identify other health issue that could be effecting the weightloss. Keep up the momentum your doing great.
One day at a time to a healthier and happier life.
