Wow - I'm completely amazed... realizing of course that it's mostly water-weight (which I know is still good!), I lost 6 lbs in last week's "prep week". I wasn't even all that strict about it either. And 6 lbs on me is huge - I'm only 5'3" and started at 132 lbs, so I wasn't really overweight. So I was definately surprised to have lost this much. 
Overall, the biggest change I noticed was not being bloated. This is a huge problem for me, so seeing this go away was a big deal. I'm excited about this next phase, which I started today.

Unlike Canuck, I do have a lot of weight to lose; but, I was still surprised to discover that I had lost 7 pounds of water weight by only eliminating sugar, wheat and caffeine... nothing else... no exercise or even walking since my back went out on me while I was doing a little repair job on my truck on day one.  I know it's just water because my waist and hip measurements did not change at all.  Already I am feeling cooler like there is not so much inflammation.  hmmm
