filtered water vs.spring ater

hello all,
i am new getting prepared.is spring water the same as filtered water? i have a cuple of jugs of spring water from trader joes. Thanks,jlzjones

filtered water usually involves passing tap water through a filter, "spring"water tends not to have artificial filtration as the "spring"does that for you, and because of this can be higher in trace elements absorbed while going over the various rocks and minerals in the ground. The actual definition of "spring"water differs from country to country.
For this program, I don't think there is a difference as both have removed impurities (chlorine etc). Filtered water is a lot cheaper, convenient, environmentally friendly (no plastic bottles or transportation of bottles to your local shop!), and if you did a blind fold test you probably can't tell the difference.
