I had a hard time finding large glass containers with lids, so I used a Sun Tea jar that holds about 1.5 gallons in a glass container. It is working out great because it has a spicket and I just press the botton and out comes the liquid- no more pouring!

great idea!

I have been experimenting with various containers, but love your suggestion as it sounds easier and cleaner than what I have been using. Thanks!

If you want to make a lot of broth and freeze some you could try ice cube trays. I know most people have ice makers, but i picked up some cheap ice cube trays to use just for this. I freeze the broth in there, store in freezer baggies, then I dole out an appropriate amount each morning depending on how long I will be at the office and just heat them in the microwave. This may not fit the ideal methods of freezing in glass containers and not microwaving, but the convenience keep me from falling off the wagon. Just a thought.
