Armour Thyroid Manufacturer's Backorder

About 6 months ago, I attempted to pick up my Armour Thyroid 2 grains.  I twas told that I needed to find another drug store that carried it because of a "manufacturer's backorder."  Did get it filled; however, the new drug store said the same thing and was told to check about a month before I needed more to see if the backorder was lifted.

I checked last week and still no Armour Thyroid.  What has happened?  

I have used Synthroid and didn't do well on it.  Also, a drugstore rep told me that she, herself, had gone off Synthroid due to its being cancer-causing.

What do you suggest???

I think checking around to various pharmacies would be a good idea. I'm on it too and haven't had a problem getting it when I need, but I may now make sure I'm a couple months ahead just to be sure it doesn't run out.

It's nice to hear that it isn't going off the market though. :)

I know I had that problem in the spring, but the supply here in Michigan is okay now.
