Hi everyone including ijvanren. I have not found a doctor here in Victoria, Australia who practises functional medicine, I have been doing other things apart from looking for a real doctor. I HOPE there is a real doctor in my locality who is familiar with Dr Hymans significant contribution to reversing the impending tsunami of illness as a result of following a typical western diet. I have been dealing with the depression  I feel as a result of living in a culture that poisons itself.  And the realization that I have never been well. I REALLY NEED A GOOD DOCTOR,  Lets be real about whats going on . Regards to all  lily.lake

Hi Phoenix 1111, thanks for your encouraging reply, I live in Australia so it will be even harder than it is in the USA to find a good doc. In fact I am not even looking for one at the moment. Have you found a good doc?
