Doing the UltraSimple Diet
This is my first endeavor with a "diet" let alone a message board. I was a fitness trainer and an avid 7day a week runner for nearly 22 years. My weight and health were never an issue for me. It was my job to train and motivate people back to health. Now I need a trainer! I need something!! I had to stop running almost 2 years ago due to back pain and since nothing gave me the rush like running did I just stopped working out completely. That coupled life changing stress and a stressfull career in the medical field I just couldn't get myself motivated. That's when my body and health started to turn on me. In just a mere 2 years I have put on 30 lbs due to adrenal/thyroid issues along w/fibromyalgia and a myriad of symptoms that on some days almost debilate me. I know the long term high degree of stress, lack of exercise and inappropriate diet contributed to the health issues I'm experiencing today. My naturopathic physician recommended I try the UltraSimple Diet as a detoxing method with the added benefit of dropping some of this weight. I just can't believe how gaining this weight has depressed me so. It just becomes a vicious cycle. I don't why I'm writing this other than maybe to vent???

To Trainer.....Trainer

Not yet begun the UltraSimple Diet
I can identify with what you're saying. I used to be active with running and yoga and have let myself go....stress and a fairly sedentary lifestyle. I just did the the Ultrasimple diet. So how's it going for you? Are you finding some motivation to stay with the diet and begin exercising?
