certainly those of us who are ill with chronic fatigue syndrome are aware of the huge amount of money that we spend on specialized diet, totally expensive supplements, compiling books , seeking and paying multiple doctors, required medications, etc.  How do we do it?  Answer is, we don't. many of us just go about our daily lives in the pain and fog and illness that is CFS because quite simply the daily struggle to survive is the only expense we can afford, let alone have the additional funds to pay for the specific expenses mentioned above.

i see so many advertisements for all the services and products that are developed and marketed to help those with Chronic Fatigue. heck, our own Dr. Hyman markets a lot of things, as someone who has "recovered" from CFS.

i am saying that if people who are in a position to help by advancing information or products, but instead put the products and information out there in an expensive package, then that is disrespectful and uncaring about that mass of people who are afflicted and struggling with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  the desire to get wealthy at the expense of these chronically ill, struggling people is an offensive concept to me.

a creative alternative approach would be to provide these books as ebooks, and to provide DVDs available to view online .  the information would get out to the really needy people who are marginally making it every day, who cannot afford to pay the gurus.  perhaps the guru realizes the value of sharing knowledge with the sick and the poor.
