Doing the UltraSimple Diet Doing the UltraSimple Diet

I'm a 59 yr old gramma and was struggling with asthma, and acne that I never had as a teenager. My noisy wheezing would even wake me up during the night, then the noise would make it hard to get back to sleep again. I started on Dr. Hyman's UltraMetabolism diet a little over 2 months ago, and about 4-5 weeks into the diet, my wheezing was completely gone. Sinus congestion not gone, but a lot better. The acne is SLOWLY getting better. After 2 months I had lost 13 lbs. and almost 1 size. And this from someone who has literally tried almost every diet out there to lose weight the past 20 yrs. Yipee. I'm really thrilled to see these lbs. come off and to be breathing better and not wheezing.

Thank you Dr. Hyman for your wonderful books. I had been praying for a solution for a long time, and you had the answer.

This is a P.S. to what I wrote above. I realized I wrote about the UltraM diet on the ultrsimple diet post. I did the US diet a week early because of a situation that would have been extremely difficult to stay on it on the 18th. After the 7th day, I was a little disappointed that I had only lost 1 1/2 lbs. , but very pleased that I had lost 2 inches off my waist and 1 1/2 inches off my hips. My score on the health questionaire went from 64 down to 29! Yeah. I had a hard time getting in my aerobic exercises.which could be why I didn't lose more weight. My face is getting clearer little by little as well. I am continuing the diet as I still need to lose about 25 more lbs. Take it from me, DO The EXERCISES. Oh, I also did the enhanced diet.FYI

Congratulations on your success.  It is also good to know of people out there who have been doing this for a while.  I too need to keep it up for a while to lose more weight.  One week is encouraging but what happens now is pretty critical for me.  Your story has me thinking that in the long run, many more subtle things improve with time.
