Very happy with the results. Lost 3lbs and 1.5 inches off waist and 1.5 of hips.
Most importantly for me I have kicked some really bad eating habits and lost some wicked cravings! and started exercising again!
Yea ME!! Just thought I would share.
Wishing everyone great success and fabulous health!

Congrats! My results were very similar: Lost 2.5 lbs, 1 inch from waist, .75 from hips. I'm traveling for work the next couple of weeks, and plan to continue along the lines of the UMD.
One thing I noticed was a little insomnia, a hard time staying asleep. Anyone else?
Keep it up!
YAY YOU!!

It took me FOUR months to from the time i bought the book to my start day (today). I'm hoping for results as encouraging as yours. Thank you!

I love the USD program!
Congratulations on your losses, so far, dnz!
I am posting the following based on my weight on 7/9/07. When I entered the data on my profile, I posted a different weight, somehow, and I plan to correct that when that is possible. I have taken the "tortoise pace" Week 1 approach, so I've been on the USD for awhile, but I have felt that I should wait to post my "final" results for Week 1.
Since 7/9/07, the day I began USD prep week, my weight is down 9 pounds(and I've enjoyed pretty much every bite of food so far!), waist is down 2.25 inches, hips are the same, waist to hip ratio is 0.041 lower, and BMI is 1.32 lower. I'm trying to be more consistent now in doing the measurements, such as having the proper degree of "snugness" with the tape measure, so my later measurements are probably more accurate than the original ones. My husband helps me with the measurements so that they will be more consistent.
At any rate, I'm extremely happy!
My swollen feet and ankles are much better, and my current sinus problems now seem to be related mostly to things that are in the air/environment, some of which I can't control. I noticed yesterday that I had a bit of postnasal "stuff" while sitting near someone who was wearing something scented(cologne, perhaps--the episode went away within a few minutes, after some dry coughing and no drink of water). I have had an "off and on" problem with the detergent/other scented products aisle in stores for years("tingling nostrils"), and sometimes fabric and craft stores gave me difficulties, also(itchy, burning, gummy eyes). I am still trying things to help me continue to detox, and I just recently bought some Geranium Egyptian essential oil so that I can take a "daytime" UB. I have tried that once, and the results have been very good so far, plus I really enjoyed the aroma. Before buying that particular oil, I googled "essential oils" and did some research on the effects of various essential oils and tried to find the best one for my situation.
BTW, at church yesterday I received the following comments: "oh my, don't you look nice!"(this is from someone who has seen me pretty much weekly ever since I began the USD prep week), and "I love that dress on you". The dress is one that I have received compliments on before, but this time I think I look better in it(and I definitely feel better when wearing it)!
Later: My health scores are as follows: 122 on 7/10/07, 65 on 7/16/07, and 17 on 8/21/07!
