Currently completed UltraMetabolism week 1
Doing the UltraSimple Diet
July 3, 2007 I started the Preparation week. I considered doing the USD because my breathing was laboured. September 4th, I have finished the UltraMetabolism course. I have regained my breath, lost 20.5lbs, 3in. around my waist, 3.5 around my belly. I need a belt to hold up my pants!
I have 35 or 40lbs to go and am confident I can lose them because this way of eating enables me to say "No, thank you." Extremely powerful.
Unfortunately, I didn't understand the tracking system so my results aren't in there but they are in my lfe. Grandmaof3 expressed the positive aspects well. Don't get hung up on side issues.
Best in health and life to everyone,
Carolyn59

Congratulations on your fabulous weight loss. Now you know you can do it, it's just a matter of continuing to do the same.
Any tips or advice you can offer for someone who's been struggling for the last month?
Too few calories, too many, what does it really take? I just can't seem to get it right. Am taking all the supplements, just not the olive oil/lemon cocktail, which I know would make me miserable, also no ultra baths or journaling, absolutely no time.
Carolyn you are proof that the USD/UM works, I needed to hear this!
Happy to see your results!

Happy to see your results, "other" Carolyn.
At my 61st birthday party yesterday, the homemade bread that I used to love was not even appealing to me, and even though I enjoyed the aroma of the fresh bread as well as the aroma of the fresh sour cream pound cake that everyone else ate, the aroma was enough for me, and I didn't have to eat any of it! I finally ate a pecan Lara bar and a double recipe of Faux Cherry Ice Cream with Special Dark Cocoa powder and chopped pecans after everyone else had eaten pound cake and strawberry ice cream. I put the Faux ice cream into the freezer after making it, and I may try that again at some point.
I do plan to wrap well and freeze some of the homemade mostly whole-wheat bread and also the cake so that I can celebrate again at the appropriate time! Our oldest grandson loves bread and he ate 3 pieces of it, minus the crust. He also enjoyed the pound cake that his mother made for her "belated" birthday party.
All 8 of us had a feast! The other 7 ate somewhat differently than I did.
Thanks for posting.
