I did a research for the top quality vitamin companies, I've gone to the health food stores, and yet I can't seem to find a multiple vitamin that doesn't have toxic levels of Vitamin A.  What's up with that????  Also, I'm trying to find a good one that comes in liquid form as my sweetie (who's being an amazingly good sport about going along with this) can't swallow pills easily.  I've spent several hours on this and absolutely do not have that kind of time.  Can anyone direct me to a specific brand?

I've always been advised to keep Vitamin A below 2000 units.  I found one multivitamin that was as low as 5000 units but all the others were at 10,000 and higher!!!

I spent countless hours in confusion over the Vitamin A thing, so I feel your pain!  It is only the Retinol form of Vitamin A that you need to be concerned about keeping below 2,000 IU.  The Carotenes (beta and/or mixed) are safe, and recommended at the higher levels of 10,000-15,000 IU.  If the multi-vitamin does not specify the breakout in type of Vitamin, then better to find another.

In general, I find Swanson Vitamins are the cheapest around, decent quality overall (they pass all the ConsumerLab tests), and generally you can easily put together the quantities recommended by Dr Hyman.
