Hi all !  I thought those of us who just finished the USD could post our results and thoughts here.  Heres mine:  Lost 3 lbs (as well as 3 lbs. in the prep week).  I lost 1 inch off my waist this week and 1/4 in. last week.  My Health Tracker score went from 45 to 11.  Now here an interesting side effect I've been dealing with.  It started with me wondering why I felt more tired than usual all week long.  I knew it was supposed to start out that way, but I wondered why I still had less energy than before starting.  I think I have the answer......my blood pressure is too low!  I have been on Lotrel for high blood pressure.  Yesterday I finally got out my blood pressure cuff and checked it.  The average of 5 readings was 92/58.  This morning my average of 5 readings was 84/52.  Yipee!  Maybe I can go off meds for BP.  I realize I need to check with my doctor to monitor the meds.  I also realize that tecnically, maybe I shouldn't have gone on the program because of being on the meds.  Anyway.... I'll be careful and am happy with the results. - Diana

I agree it would be nice to stay in touch and meet others to share our progress. Before I saw your post I posted a similiar one like yours. I have never felt better and I take a med that makes me hungry all the time, but I hung in there and finished the program. I finished yesterday and lost 5 lbs. 3" around my hips but only 1" around the waist. I haven't been exercising but will try to start walking tomorrow and from now on. Good to meet you and will stay in touch.

I'm glad to hear of your success.  Absoulutely, exercise is so good for your health.....physically and mentally! I hope you stick with that just as you have the USD.  I have been exercising at Curves for Women for 3 1/2  years and that is what has helped me so very much so far.   I go 3 times a week and rarely ever miss a workout.  I have now added walking on 3 other days a week.  Take care!
