I bought the Ultrametabolism book and have been adjusting my diet, things going OK except for coffee!! Anyway, I just downloaded the Ultra Simple plan, but can't find any recipes for the Ultrashakes. Did I overlook them? Thanks.

I think the receipes are in the book, but I'll give you a few hints. However, I would buy the book ($5.95 at Wal-mart), since it has some valuable information and there is a free companion guilde with a lot of good receipes.

Anyway the two extra ingredients for all three types of shakes is 2T of ground flaxseed and 1T of flax/borage oil, which gets added to two shakes a day. Also for each type of shake you can add 1/2 cup of non-citrus fruit and nut butter to improve flavor.

The three shake types: Rice protein, use as directed. Soy, Use 1/2 cup each silken tofu and unsweetened soy milk. Nut, 1-2T nut butter and 1/2 cup unsweetened gluten free almond milk. Add filtered water until you get your desired consistancy for all types of shakes.

My personal experience recommends that you buy some sample packets of the rice protein, since it is rather gritty. I found that if I used 1/2 the amount and added silken tofu I liked the protein powder and the chocolate one is good too. I played around with the ingredients a lot, but always added the flax at least twice a day. However, you might want to use a little less until your body is use to the added fiber.
