Hello everyone,

What alternatives are there to the soy products (soy yogurt and soy milk) listed in the detox eating plan?

I have just finished reading through Ultrametabolism and am set to begin the Preparation phase this weekend; and begin the detox phase the following week. I don't particularly care for soy products.

Alternatives for soy milk: almond milk and hazelnut milk are good in the shakes.  Rice milk works well for other things and tastes very similar to regular milk.  I have also seen oat milk & hemp milk but have not tried these.  These are all in a non-refrigerated section at the store, in little boxes, so you can keep them in the pantry until you need them, which is great! 

I do not know of any substitutes for soy yogurt...maybe go to whole foods and check it out or search online.

Anybody know where to locate any yogurts without sugar, cane juice, or corn syrup--no matter what they say on the front--every one contains some kind of sugar-especially the soy products.  Mama Foodie
