With a patch test years ago it was shown that I was allergic
to green beans. Other beans were not tested. I've also had some trouble
with pinto beans and garbanzo beans at times. It causes a stomach upset
and maybe a breakout. Do I just eliminate all beans because
I'm trying to find allergens?

If you have previous allergic reactions or sensitivities it may best best to stay away from beans.

Me too. I have tested allergic to green beans, but more importantly to legumes. It's reaction in my stomach lining that causes it to swell (not gas) and then I have a bad GI response and flush out everything. I can't do most good meal plans due to this allergy. It includes all "beans", english peas, peanut, and especially soy.
