Hello,

I am new to this board. I just started this diet today. I noticed that yogurt is off the list of acceptable foods, but what about raw milk yogurt, where there is absolutely no preservatives added and all the original enzymes of the milk are not destroyed in a pastuerization procees?

 Thanks, Jude

Hi Jude, I think the problem with yogurt the first week is the dairy.  No dairy products the first week.  You can probably have the yogurt after you finish and reintroduce dairy back into your diet.  Where do you find raw milk yogurt?  All the ones I have found have some sort of sugar in them-usually the no no corn syrup--I did find an organic greek style yogurt at the health store but the taste was nasty.  Hope this helped, Mama Foodie

Hi Mama Foodie. I was just asking about the 7 day simple diet. As for the raw milk, i joined a private membership group that owns cows and makes raw milk products. I found it on realmilk.com. You should be able to find something local according to your state.

If you plan to only do the plan for seven days, you should omit all dairy, then follow the reintroduction procedures at the back of the book to check all eliminated foods for allergies.

If you continue to stay on the plan past the seven days, you still might want to stay off dairy and try unsweetened soy yogurt, if you can find it.
