I did the Ultrasimple diet for 7 weeks and never felt better. Idid do the lemon and olive oil every day. It really worked well for me. In the last month I have been eating without a thought to any potential allergens nand not feeling so great. I intend to return to the discipline of Dr. Hyman's dietary plans. However, there is a glitch in my life. I fell and broke 3 ribs and need to be taking oxycodone for the pain. Can I again begin the ultr-simple diet during this time or do I need to wait until I'm physically comfortable without the pain meds? Since I did not reintroduce my foods in a fashion that let me know what my allergens are, I'm back at square one. Plus, at this time it would be very helpful for me to be resuming a hypo-allergenic way of eating. Any recommendations?

I would go for it, because this plan helps with all types of inflammation. The only concern I would have is your tolerence may change for the medication, so be careful if you have to drive. The milk thistle will help support you liver while it is being exposed to the extra toxins and the calcium will help the bones heal.

I have been off the plan too, but continued to take the milk thistle because I have been taking Loritabs. I restarted with the preparation week on Monday, but I also added the shakes for breakfast and all the vitamins and supplements.
