I am allergic to soy and soy products - I have a very acidic stomach and can't tolerate them at all (much like dairy). I use either rice or almond milk on a daily basis. I was wondering if anyone had any other new or different suggestions for soy products especially since I can't find the rice protein here in the UK.
Also, I just don't like rice and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for that. Can I substitute raw bread? (I can't tolerate wheat either so sometimes I have that). Or can I just eat more veggies?
Any thoughts on these questions or any substitutes for the diet would be great. Love hearing what works for other people too!

For your shakes you can just have the nut one, made from almond butter, it is very good and will give you a good portion of protein. I am not sure how it would taste, but you could blend white beans into a paste and use in place of the silken tofu for a milder flavor from the nut.
Since you don't like rice, you could try quinoa, buckwheat, or millet, which are low allergy grains, but select just one at a time to test for allergies. You also might want to read the Ultra Metabolism plan, since it has other options for food choices and may help with some of your allergy symptoms.
