An
estimate of resting metabolic rate (RMR) is Body Weight x 10. So, yes,
if you have lost 10 lbs , recalculate based on your current body
weight.
There
are certainly limitations of estimating RMR and many nutritionists,
fitness centers, etc. now have the new technology (as we do in our
practice at the UltraWellness Center) to MEASURE resting metabolic
rate, which is highly accurate.
