I thought your question was interesting the first time you posted, but a alas we are often alone out here. I had a failed attempt at a fish tank and looked into osmosis but just felt it was to costly for my fish. However, it would be a good thing for humans to consider, I think off the top of my head from what I remember, because the "filtered" water that we consume now is not pure and actually is striped of elements that we need especially minerals and is depleted of oxygen.

Since I don't have the name on this page as I am writing what do you already know about the water system that you are asking about? Maybe at least two heads are better that one and you at least have a few here that might be willing to talk with you about it.

Edit: I went and googled this type of water system and found it very interesting. Our post actually is one of the first hits, cool. Have you ever tested your ph levels for a few days to see if you are out of balance? I did it, but was not consistant enough for a good assessment, but it was interesting to compare it to what I ate. It does sound like if you can afford one of these systems it would be benificial for more than one reason, but the manufactor Kagan may or may not be worth twice the money. It has been my experience that the moderate priced products usually have good options that are well worth the money, but the best is the best for a reason or they just have more money to advertise.

I usually find when I am researching a product that I now start on line, find several reputable sites, get referals, then get on the phone, you can learn so much once you get people talking. The other big thing I look for is the warranty, and the company you mentioned had the best on the site I found that compared about 8-9 systems.

I wish you could get more of a reply from Dr Hyman, but this just isn't his thing. As water gets more scarce we will all worry about its quality and how it is affecting our health.
