How do you know if they are a ''good'' Functional medicine doctor

I'm having a hard time finding out whether the doctors I'm getting off the institue of functional medicine in my area(north or Seattle) are qualified with experience in funtional medicine.Not all of these doctors have web sites and alot say they dont have information to send about there practices.

It also seems that these doctors are pretty pricey.Does any one have any information about this subject?
