Is this the same as "alpha-GPC"? It's the only supplement I could find that contained glycerophosphocholine.
I ask because the dosage requirements on the bottle I bought suggest 300-600 mg/day, whereas the book recommends 3,600 mg/day. Quite a difference and I want to be sure I'm doing the right thing before I take a dose 10x the mfg recommendation.
Thanks!
Jeff

I am not sure but you might double check that is not mcg vs mg, because that is a big variation. Do not take until you verify either here or another reputable site.

The book states to take GPC *or* CDP-choline, 1200mg three times a day, which equals 3600mg. But only for two months. Afterwhich, you would reduce to 400mg three times a day for a total of 1200mg. This approach is called "loading."
If you think of loading in terms of a deficiency, first you would correct the deficiency with largers doses, then you would maintain the proper level with lower doses.
If you don't feel comfortable with the approach, maybe just start with the 400mg doses.
