Does anyone have Geographic Tongue? it is a sore, red, patchy, burning, tongue that comes and goes.  The doctors say you'll be ok and do not know what causes it.  Maybe a diffiency in something... Just wondering if someone is experiencing this and has this diet helped in anyway...So far it hasn't for me but still trying.  Oh 3% of the population has this tongue condition...

My 3 year old grand daughter has this...usually comes when she is getting sick with a cold and or infection.  Peditrician was not much help...I imagine it is some sort of a deficency...possibly someone could comment and help with more info.  She does not seem to be in pain but will drool alot when it's present.

Oh..I feel sorry for the little one, I started getting this about five years ago and I am in my 40's, my father also has it.  It can be pretty misserable, comes and goes.  It is so frustrating, the  doctors just don't know what really causes it.  I have changed my diet in hopes that it will help, and have added plenty of nutrients, still no luck.  About 2-3% of the population has this condition.  Thank you for your reply.
