Doing the UltraSimple Diet
I suggest you repost your question and ask that Christina (the nutritionist) answer your question. I'm no expert on this (only started a few days ago myself); however, one thing I notice is that you are still using tomato products, which they recommend against during the first seven days. Also, drop the honey, coffee, english muffin, cheese, pasta as these are not allowed in the first seven days.
Have you always taken the bee pollen? Or is new to you? It may be an allergic reaction to that. However, again, I am not a medical practioner or expert on this program.
You might want to review some of the guidelines in the book(s) or, at a minimum, print the companion guide at www.ultrasimplediet.com/guide.
Good luck,
Roxanne

Dear Kat,
Sorry you had such a frightening experience. I have more questions than answers for you. I am wondering if you have a history of allergies (food, drug, etc) and if anything like this happened to you before? You seem most suspect of the soy with the carageenan or the new fish oil so I am sure you have held off on them for now and I would recommend that.
In addition, it sounds like you are taking some other supplements with some herbs and other potential allergienic substances that I would not necessarily recommend and it is possible that you experienced a food/supplement reaction.
I recommend to all my patients that whenever starting any new product(s) to start only one at a time and allow at least 2-3 days before starting the next so that in the event, one had a reaction, it would be easier to figure it out.
Do send an update and let me know how you are doing,
Kathie Swift MS RD

As you mentioned you eat fish all the time and had, eaten it recently it rules out being allergic to the fish, the other foods are all normal but there's a tiny chance you could be allergic to one but probably not. I'd say the reaction came from the bee pollen. Some people can have reactions to this even though its a vitamin, run a google search of bee pollen vitamin allergic reaction. It makes the most sense of all the stuff you listed, possibly the peanuts but anyone who is allergic to food usually finds out at an early age, unless they become allergic to it later on which is rare. I have seasonal allergies to some types of pollen i dont think id ever take the chance of taking something orally that contained pollen. You can easily get tested to see what your allergic to as far as pollen goes etc. As for vitamins if you take that many i'd really suggest ordering discount vitamins online to save some money, since most stores are charging top dollar.
