How to start again?

Doing the UltraSimple Diet Doing the UltraSimple Diet

How do I start again? I did UltraSimple for 1 week, ending September 5. Then I went to Week 2 of UltraMetabolism. Midway through that week I started to lose momentum. Kids started back to school, lots of meetings at night, busy at work, no time to shop and prepare. I'm bloated again, tired all the time, aches and pains, nausea, nasal congestion. So I know in my heart (and my gut) that I'm on the right track with UltraWellness.....just don't know at which point to start over....or jump back in. Do I do a week of UltraSimple again...Do I just go back to Week 2 of UltraMetabolism...any suggestions?

Instead of starting with week 2 of UltraMetabolism, start with week 1.  Wean off the caffeine and sugar, then slowly work into week 2.  That gives you a week to look over (again) what's good and what's bad; then plan for the upcoming weeks.  You know that some of what you're eating is making you feel bad, so I commend you for making, and wanting to make, a positive change.

Though it was a personal

Though it was a personal recommendation for me from Dr. Hyman, I am still very happy I did the USD for 4 weeks. Other than the fact I travel a lot and that is almost too restricted to do while travelling, it was great.

I don't think there would be any harm in anyone else doing it for that long either, if you felt so good on it, and Dr. Hyman even suggests continuing on in his USD book as an option (though I'm not sure for how long).

If that doesn't appeal to you and you are having that many issues with your health again, I agree that at least starting out with week 1 all over would probably be beneficial. It will give you a nice clean slate to work with. And then be careful to add only one thing back at a time so you can identify what it is that makes you feel tired and bloated and in pain.
