Olive oil and lemon juice

Does anyone know why we are not suppose to use the olive oil and lemon juice for more that a week? During my second week, I felt less satisfied during the day and experienced more cravings, but the only change I made was to eliminate the oil/juice. I also only lost 1lb during my second week, but I lost 7lbs during the first one. I am following the Ultra Simple Diet right now, but planned to switch to the more specific treatment of Ultra Metabolism plan after I reintroduced everything but the food to avoid for the UM.
My score for the USD was 112 when I started and 52 after the first week, so I am wondering if my weighloss and health might improve if I applied the supplements from the UM plan. Unfortunatly I still score above 7 on most of those test, they have improved just by the other changes, but I am not sure which profile would benefie me the most. Should I start with Key 1 and move through as needed.
I know I should get assistance from a doctor, but there is no one in my community that has completed Dr Hyman's Ultra Wellness training. The closest choices are at least a 45 minute drive away. I may consult with one if I continue to have problems after several months of healthier eating and using various supplemenets.
Any other suggestions on how to up the weightloss would be helpful. I have increased my physical activity, but due to my fibromyalgia I have to go slow or I'll crash and take weeks to recover.

Weight loss is often most dramatic the first week of a program so expect that it will slow down and be prepared for a realistic rate of loss as you continue - even .5lb/week is excellent - think about that - it would = ~25 lbs in one year!!!
Olive oil and lemon are considered whole foods, so sure - if you want to continue to include them, you may do that especially if you feel they have been beneficial to your health overall.
UM is a way of eating for life so gradually continue your transition to this plan and if you need coaching, you can have the support of a nutritionist by calling the UltraWellness Center at 413-637-9991.
Keep up the great work and always, stay tuned in to your body as you integrate physical activity.

Doing the UltraSimple Diet
I thought I read somewhere in USD that if you continued it for more than one week to stop taking the olive oil and lemon juice. Two questions:
1. Should you continue? Is there a problem or benefit to continue?
2. What actually is the purpose of the olive oil and lemon juice?
3. I read something about requesting it if you are eating out. Why ask for it when eating out but not for every meal?
Confused about the purpose and therefore how to decide to continue or stop.
I'm on day 12 of USD and loving it!
