Headaches

I started the UltraSimple Diet yesterday after preparing for one week.  My inflamation went away as soon as I eliminated corn, sugar and wheat during the prep week.  I hadn't quite withdrawn from coffee but was down to a half a cup.  I usually drink 2 cups a day.

I have had a constant, horrible headache that was not eleviated by drinking coffee.  So, I would assume that the coffee and the headache is not related.

I couldn't sleep it hurt so badly.  Finally, I broke down and took Advil (3 pills).  Of course the headache went away.  I have an extremely high tolerance to pain.  So, when I say I couldn't tolerate the headache anymore, I mean it was horrible.  Nothing would stop it.  Not ice, not heat, not rubbing, not pressure points.  Nothing and it just got worse and worse.

This morning, I drank less than a half a cup of coffee.  My dull headache started ramping up immediately.  I took 1 Advil and my headache went away.  I began feeling wonderful again like I did during the prep week.  Now it is back.  I know that in order to detox, I must stop taking it.  I know that the headaches are part of detoxing.  But what can I do?  I cannot tolerate this pain.

 Please let me know.  Cathy

My headaches went away after a few days and most peoples do, but if your continue past the first week contact customer support directly. Even though this is a low alergen diet some people are sensitive to some of the foods, so keep this in mind in case of an allergic reaction.

I used pain relievers too during the first few days, but I took one first and waited at least 30 minutes before I took more, so I used the smallest dose I could. Also make sure you are staying hydrated by drinking lots of water, because it helps flush out the toxins that could be causing the headaches.

Remember to rest by taking a nap, if you can, that really helps too.
