UltraWellness.com Message Board Rules
Welcome to the UltraWellness Message Boards!
We created this forum to provide you with the opportunity to connect with other people who, just like you, are on the journey to UltraWellness. The goal is to create a safe, friendly place where you can share your story, swap tips, and meet new friends.
Before you start exploring the Boards, take a moment to review our etiquette guidelines and rules.
Keep it real. Choose any screen name you like, but you may not represent yourself as someone you aren’t, such as a site administrator, another member, or Dr. Hyman.
Stay simple. Keep your posts relatively short, relevant, and free of italics, boldface, and colored fonts, so that they’re easy for other members to read. Avoid including images, animations, and large chunks of text, which can slow down some computers. Use hyperlinks instead.
Don’t shout. On the Internet, typing in all capital letters symbolizes shouting. It can be considered rude and is also difficult to read. If you have trouble switching from capital to lowercase letters, it’s best to stick with lowercase.
Express yourself. Using sarcasm in writing may confuse your reader. You can avoid being misunderstood by using “emoticons” like :-) [smiling] and ;-) [winking].
Refrain from spam. Post your message to the appropriate topic (thread). Don’t flood the Boards with multiple, identical postings (“spam”).
No advertisements, please. We prohibit advertising of any kind on the Message Boards.
Be respectful. Messages that threaten, insult, or are rude to another poster (known as “flaming”) are not tolerated. Please treat other members as you would like them to treat you.
Stay safe. Keep your personal information (name and contact information) private. If you want to share it with another member, do so only via a private message or email.
