This winter is really being hard for me! I have two kids, 2 and 7 and I homeschool. I really, really miss those days of just going out! Now we can go to a museum, or playdate, or social gathering, but it not the same as packing lunch and snacks and going to the beach or park for the day.
March is always the hardest month for me - and its really hard at home with kids. I don't have the freedom to just go out and go to the gym. Even when my husband gets home, he is too beat to take care of the kids while I go exercise - occasionally, but not regularly.
I did join the YMCA, the kids are liking the "kid watch" area - I just hope they keep on liking it. I can go take a class or workout in the gym. That's what we are going to do later this morning.
I'm also thinking of keeping a food journal here.

The YMCA sounds like a perfect solution to getting out for some exercise with the kids. Exercise always makes me feel better emotionally, it's just making myself get started that's the hard part.
Best of Luck!

Yes, yes, yes to your exercise sessions at the Y and also to keeping a food journal - a tried and true method to support improved eating habits.
Wishing you a great March!!
